Ortenza 1005 ORT ankle orthosis is designed to support the diagnosis of falling foot. It consists of a plastic base, pads and straps. The brace supports the foot while walking, which makes it possible not to lose the usual quality of life.
Indications for use of the Ortenza 1005 ORT
- diagnosis of “falling foot”;
- damage to the peroneal nerve;
- weakness when lifting the foot of mild to moderate degree;
- hernia of the lumbar disc;
- hemiplegia;
- spinal cord injury;
- stroke;
- cerebral palsy;
- neuroinfections and other diseases requiring fixation of the ankle at a right angle.
Falling foot orthosis Ortenza 1005 ORT provides leg stability and rigid fixation of the ankle joint in a predetermined position. The bandage is fixed on the leg in two places – on the calf and ankle. This helps with a tighter fit. To reduce friction in the places where the bandage is fixed on the leg, there are soft substrates.
Hypoallergenic medical plastic was chosen as the material for the orthosis. Thin plastic makes it possible to place it in casual or sports shoes.
